Well, yes, you are right. We've made Textual super-duper fast loading in raw form.So if you want to add a lot of plugins to it, the base theme itself will still give you great results.

Do not worry, you can still add images, we are not crazy!

Let's take a deeper look at what you can get with Textual.

Fast loading of fonts

The theme loads standard system fonts by default, which means no external CSS is loaded from Google or Typekit. That doesn't mean Textual doesn't work with web fonts. Oh no!We're not stupid, we know people love web fonts, which is why the theme is fully compatible with these two lovely plugins. We even used 2 Google web fonts in our demo.

Simple Google fonts

With the great and free Google Fonts plugin for WordPress, you can add any Google font.We've even integrated a custom options panel to get you up and running quickly with our recommended font selections that work well with the theme's typography.Just read our extensive theme documentation for all the details.

Typekit for WordPress

With this wonderful free Typekit plugin for WordPress, you can add any Typekit font. You do need a Typekit account to do this.We also have a selection of our recommended fonts that work well with the theme's typography. Just read our extensive support documentation for all the details.We have 7 widget areas in the theme with different sidebars for your home and archive pages, single post and standard pages.

We also have header and footer widget areas that count your widgets and arrange them in columns based on how many widgets you add.

This means that if you only add one widget to the header widget area (displayed below the header and before the content), it will center itself, perfect for web ads!

We even have 2 custom widgets for displaying your social icons (see header, footer and sidebar for these icons) and our MeanThemes About You upload an image of your beautiful face with A mini biography section.

Featured Image Control

All of these are disabled by default throughout the theme (except for the gallery post format, because why load a gallery if you don't want it to show).This also includes related post boxes. you can reopen theseposts that look like this.

We've added many useful options, but not too many. You have full control over fonts, colors, showing and hiding content, positioning headers socially.
