How to create a market with Olam?

By default, Olam is a single-vendor digital store. To make it a marketplace, i.e. to allow other vendors to list their products for which they need to install the EDD front-end submission extension.You can check more details of EDD FES extensionhere. Once you have the extension installed and the basic setup done, your website becomes a marketplace, just like that!

I don't want other suppliers, can I use Olam to build a supplier store?

Of course, Olam comes out as a single-vendor theme, just install it and import the demo content and you'll get a single-vendor store.

How do I upgrade to the latest version of the Olam EDD theme?

Can I upload my audio/video previews as separate files?

All audio/video previews are uploaded as separate files. You can also link youtube videos as previews.

Can I upload a custom image to preview in the product listing page and another preview in the product page?

Yes, some of our customers want square preview images in stores and other product listing pages. So we've added an option to choose a custom image for this purpose.

Can I upload multiple images for preview? Can I do this if I use EDD Front End Submission (FES)?

You can upload multiple previews as here -https://themes.layero.com/olamwp/downloads/hot/,If you run a supplier store. However, if you are using EDD FES, you cannot do this. Gallery is not available for FES submissions.

How does the Contact/Support window in the bottom RHS work?

It's basically a quick contact form. Any contacts will be sent to the email address associated with your WordPress site (you can find it in Dashboard -> Settings -> General)

Is Olam compatible with RTL languages?

No, Olam is not compatible with RTL languages.

Can I create a WooCommerce store with Olam?

Yes, we made Olam compatible with WooCommerce by customer request, but it's mostly an EDD theme. Most functions are created for EDD.If you want to use WooCommerce alone, I recommend this theme -https://themeforest.net/item/muta-woocommerce-wordpress-theme/17990458

Do you offer theme customization?

No. We are a very small team and don't have the resources to customize.

Is there a limit to the number of products I can add?

No, you can add as many products as you want with Olam.
