GF Importer: How to import CSV files

• step 1:Go to the GF Importer tab from the Dashboard panel of the main menu.
• Step 2:Click the Choose File option to upload a CSV file or export a file from Gravity Form.
• Step 3:Select the Gravity Form and click the Upload button.

Mapping between fields and CSV files

The administrator must ensure that enough form fields are provided in the form (as many as in the CSV file) so thatGravity Form ImporterExtract data from a CSV file into form fields.

GF Importers: How to Update Entries

• To update an entry, you need to tick"Update entry"checkbox. Next, select the entry to upload by selecting the desired option in the drop-down list.
• Selecting an option in the drop-down menu means that that particular field is based onentry number, allowGF importerGet records starting at this entry in the CSV file.

How to download input errors to a CSV file

Don't worry if any of the records are wrong or cause problems when importing; these records will be automatically added to a separate file.

Administrators can simply correct errors in the records and try importing them again.

How to configure administrator notification settings

Administrators can choose to be notified by email of each imported entry. If allowed, the plugin will generate an email with the entry record and send it to the administrator.

• Check the "Email Notification" checkbox to activate this option.

How to include/exclude fields to import

Admins can choose to determine which fields they can import - just include or exclude the fields you want to import.

• This can be done by "CSV field mapping" options in the drop-down menu.

How to ignore required fields during import

The plugin gives you the option to ignore certain required fields while importing. These import records will mark them as empty entries.

• Check the "Ignore required fields" Checkbox (As shown in the screenshot.)

How to check the number of imported rows

Go to GF Importer where you will see the number of records added at the end of the import status list.

Compatibility with other plugins

Now you can easily import digital signatures, coupon details, and survey data collected through Gravity Forms.Just map the fields and view your entry in the entry section of the form.

Import captured digital signatures

Importing digital signature entries requires the Gravity Form Signature Addon.

• Download and activate the Gravity Form Signature plugin
• Go to> Forms> Add New
• Navigate to the Advanced Fields section and add the Signature Fields option to the form.
• Click the Update button.

• Map the required signature fields to signature label names.

Access plugin

To access the plugin administrator must access it from the Dashboard panel menu and click on the GF Importer tab.In the GF Importer tab, administrators can access the settings and view two text boxes, each with a different function as defined below.

• Go to> Forms> Add New
• Navigate to the Advanced Fields section and add the Survey Fields option to the form
• Click the "Update" button
