Droppy's FTP Plugin - Online File Sharing connects your existing Droppy setup to an external FTP server. FTP connections can be established using standard FTP or using SFTP.This way you can keep your uploads separate from your application server and store all your uploads on another server.

Why should I store my files on an external server?

Sometimes your hosting provider doesn't give you enough storage, by connecting Droppy to an external FTP server you can store larger files for longer (it depends on your FTP server's maximum storage size), Incorporating files with your application server will also result in better application performance.

Note: This plugin will not work together with the Amazon S3 plugin.
