start using
- step 1:Edit any CF7 form and click the Stop Spam tab.
- Step 2:Select a condition for each input field to block manual spammers "value equals" or "value contains".
- Step 3:Enter the message you want to display to spammers. You might want to abuse those damn people!
- Step 4:Enter the input values to block, one entry per line, and save.
Frequently asked questions
What type of fields can I set up spam blocking for?
We have allowed spam blocking in the text, email, text area, URL and phone fields of Contact Form 7 (CF7). A few field types (select, checkbox, radio, captcha, number) are not enabled for convenience.
How to block large messages in textarea input?
To block spam in a textarea field, you should select the blocking condition "value contains" and use a small but important phrase from the spam message you receive.Changelog
