CleverSwatches – WooCommerce color or image variation swatches. Convert your normal variable attribute dropdown selections into pretty color or image selections.You can display images or colors in all common sizes. Display them in circular or square mode.CleverSwatches allows you to add multiple gallery images for each variant, and when visitors select a variant, these gallery images will be displayed as gallery images instead of main product gallery images.

General configuration

  • Enable Swatches: Use this admin to enable/disable image and color swatches for variable products instead of the default selection option.
  • Enable variant wise gallery: Use this admin to enable/disable the variant wise gallery feature displayed on variant detail page when a variant combination is selected.
  • Use Attribute Term Thumbnails: Use this admin to allow default attribute colors and image swatches on product detail pages.
  • Use Attribute Term Labels: Use this admin to hide attribute name labels at the top of color and image swatches on product detail pages.
  • Attribute term thumbnail display type: After enabling the swatch setting, the administrator can use this to select the color and image swatch display size and display type on the product detail page.

Set the default sample type for global attributes

  1. go with:Products > Properties.
  2. Create a new property in the option CleverSwatches Type and choose the default type you want to use.

    Edit Properties: If your site already has properties, you can edit them and set the default sample type for them.

    Select the property to edit and click to edit

  3. When the new page appears, find the option CleverSwatches Type and select the default type you want to use.

Set color and photo for global properties

  1. go with:Products > Attributes
  2. Create a new attribute, if you already have an attribute, skip this step
  3. Click Configure terms
  4. Add new colors or any of your properties (or choose to edit existing terms)
  5. Choose anyColor or Imagein the sample type drop-down list

    If you have a color selected, you can click the color icon and choose the color you want to use in the color picker. Alternatively, you can enter a HEX value for the color.

    If you have selected an image, you will be able to upload an image.

Add color and image samples to variable products

Color and photo samples are only available for variable products.

  1. Create variable products. Make sure to select a global property or create a custom property in the Properties tab. Also set the Variations tab.
  2. Publish your product.
  3. go toCleverSwatchesEtiqueta.
  4. choose oneDisplay TypeFor each property used for the variant, leave it if you want it to use the property’s default options.
    • Default (selected): options will be available in the dropdown
    • Image: You will be able to add image swatches
    • color. You will be able to add color swatches
    • text. Available options will appear as text buttons
  5. Display Size: Select the size of the swatch. This will determine the size of the sample on a single product page.
  6. Show Shape: The shape type of the attribute is displayed.
  7. Configuration property term. This is similar to how global property terms are configured (see above).
    • Choose terms.
    • If you chose a color, choose a color.
    • If you selected a picture, please upload a picture.

Sample store/category page

To display a sample of attributes on the store/category page, you need to checkEnable an attribute sample on the store/archive pageVariant select the check box in the tab, and then select the attribute in the next option, as shown in the figure below.
