If you want to start a podcast and have full control over your feed and website, minus the excessive costs, Castpod is the way to go.This theme is designed to allow you to act as the host and publisher of the show. For example - if you import past episodes from other publishers, this is a one-time process.Topics are not fetched from your publishers automatically and/or every time they are published.Provides everything you need to publish flexible websites and showcases, submit to iTunes, Google Play Music and most catalogs.However, if you want to submit your show to Spotify, you need to have an account with Libsyn, Podomatic, Podbean, etc.Currently, Spotify prefers podcasts released from Big Boys. Also, Liviu (Castpod author) was very helpful for a few questions I needed to answer.Depending on your website and podcast goals and a little patience, even a minimalist (with no coding experience) can turn this theme into a great home for your show. closure...If you plan to use your hosting as a repository, make sure your hosting plan allows you to do so without penalty.
