FRONTEND

BACKEND

How it works

FRONTEND

Users can add products to the quotation. It works like a shopping cart (add, delete, overview, etc.). After he has added all the products he wants, he can submit the list for quotation. When submitted, a quote is created in the backend for the store manager to view, and the store manager is also notified by email.

BACKEND

Case 1: The store manager can view the quotation submitted by the customer. He can add a new price for each item of that quote and approve or can cancel, reject, etc. Many states are available.Customers can receive notifications about the updated status, and then proceed to purchase a new offer through the woocommerce checkout as normal, which contains all the changes made by the store manager and the new price.

Scenario 2: You (the store manager) get a call from your VIP customer asking for a good price on a long list of products. You go into the backend, go to Quotation, and create a new quotation with all the items he asked about. Here you can adjust the price and add some discounts to keep your VIP customers happy.Once an offer is complete, you can save it and your client will receive an email notification with all the offer details, the price he exclusively got, and a link to view and accept the offer so he can check out.

For developers

Templating

You can override any plugin template in the same way as woocommerce. Just copy the files into “your-theme-directory/c2q/”.

For example. If you want to override single quotes. php and your theme is “storefront-child”, then in “/wp-content/themes/storefront-child/” create a folder called “c2q” and copy the file “single-quote.php” is there. Now you can edit it as needed.

Hooks

Many hooks are in place. Please search the code for a complete list. There is also a list in the documentation.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Are variable products supported?

    Yes they are.

  2. Will it work with this (anything we haven’t tested) plugin?

    Excuse me!

  3. I need to make this change to the plugin. Will you do it for me?

If this is a change that benefits all buyers, we might consider it. If it’s custom, then we’re sorry, but that’s not included in support.

  4. How many quotes can it handle?

It really depends on server and site optimization.
